Faces of Central Africa for empowerment & independence.

"

We grew up in Central African nations before we came to France.

Born of one world & living within another, we dream of when these two realities become one.

That there may be peace, abundance & opportunity for the people of Central Africa

An end to multiple military occupations and a resurgence of our once majestic, joyful culture.

SQP's work with Coup de Pouce des Anges is dedicated to empowering the people of Central Africa to independence, with medicine, seeds, fertilizers; energy, waste & water solutions; education, schools, orphanages, affordable homes; trade, economic strategy, entrepreneurship, finance, networks, knowledge and the message of peace through respect for life.

Camille Lepage Exhibition Tribute
Camille Lepage Exhibition Tribute

SQP with Coup de Pouce des Anges curate a photographic tribute with the blessing of Adrien Lepage, to share the story Camille Lepage gave her life to bring us. Assassinated in Central Africa, May 2014. Camille documented a photographic journey of the sorrow, suffering, death and devastation infused through some sense of normal life in Central Africa. May her bravery and sacrifice help us to connect with the poverty based desperation that is dividing a population into a daily reality of death.

A Way Forward

Lets notice: More than 1 million people have now fled their homes in the Central African Republic (CAR) because of the fighting.

2,599 is the number of reported deaths but fighting may have claimed many more lives than previously thought because according to aid workers, many victims were never taken to state hospitals and families buried their dead at home amid security fears.

http://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2014/jul/16/central-african-republic-death-toll-msf

The fighting and death continues despite the presence of about 6,000 African Union peacekeepers and 2,000 French troops at an estimated cost to the French tax-payers of 1 – 1.5 million euro’s per day.

So Coup De Pouce Des Anges and SQP contemplate an alternative solution.

Instead of the French taxpayers spending 1 million + per day on a military presence, which is not stopping the genocide…

The French people vote instead to spend 1 million euro each day for a week, on a CAR country-wide marketing campaign that offers the people of the CAR a different value equation for independence and empowerment.

The French offer: IF the fighters on both sides of this instigated conflict, stop murdering each other, then the French will replace their military presence expenditure with an investment of 1 million per day on health care, hospitals, schools, education, agriculture technology, clean water systems & micro finance loans to each citizen of the CAR…

If the people are given the opportunity to create and meaningfully contribute with the provision of health-care, education, abundant food and clean water; and access to a little finance so they may each begin to build something worth protecting; then such empowerment could lead to an independent and peaceful civilization.

A military presence amongst extreme poverty cannot build peace.
Opportunity and hope, through intelligent investment of the French people's expenditure of 1 million + per day, can and will bring peace.

Photo-story. Central Africa

Assassinated May 2014

Camille's photograph's tell of a suffering so deeply entrenched in Central African society, that a sense of hopeless sadness pervades an attempt to grasp at normality within their days.  A people impoverished by a world who looks away, except those who profit from the weapons or resources, as reward of reigning death, illness, oppression and confusion.

Projects

in co-operation with SQP

MEDICINE
SEEDS, FERTILIZERS & TRAINING
ENERGY, WASTE & WATER

Currently compiling an overview of hospitals & doctors emergency needs

& long term medicinal requirements for serious diseases such as malaria, tuburculosis, HIV & sleeping disease.

Already dispatching medicinal supplies & seeking further sponsorship for regular medicinal shipments during the conflict.

Currently seeking sponsorship to evolve a self sufficient agriculture project, where the people of Central Africa may access high performance carbon fertilisers for successful crops & easy access to organic seeds for a healthy food supply; alongside best practise training to optimise crop success.

Facilitating investment propositions & business solutions, for independent clean energy systems, that can eliminate the need for oil, coal, gas, nuclear & hydro & the consequence of related resource wars. Utilising clean water systems which purify the underground water wells, for consumption. Introducing systems that transform all waste from pollution into value.

EDUCATION & SCHOOLS
HOMES FOR ORPHANS
LEADERS OF PEOPLE

The long term goal is to see all children in school.  The educational programs & supplies, alongside classrooms & teachers, will be an important focus of work. Education empowers independence.

Promotions & programmes will secure & furnish such spaces to create a basic level of dignity for all people.  Many children in Central Africa are left without shelter & food as a result of conflict & disease & therefore,

orphanages will be a priority.

Establishing a network of like minded people to help rebuild the society & culture of the Central African Republic, through empowerment for independence.  Then translating this network into programs, finance, innovation & opportunity.
